amsco15
I own an opticalRendu Deluxe fed by OM1 fiber and a opticalModule Deluxe. Every time I initiate a reboot from within the device app (IP address), the opticalRendu does not comes back on to the network. I usually only initiate a reboot after a software update. To bring back full functionality, I have to pull the 7V power and hard reboot. It comes back after a hard reboot quickly, 30-40 seconds or so. Any ideas? Anyone else? It's a minor issue but doesn't seem right. Otherwise, problem free operation. Link to comment

I recall having this issue with my SR SE Optical where it would take a very long time to come back online. Give it a few minutes next time you do a reboot. 3. Check for another update, I don’t think it’s the Kernel you are on however. What is your DAC? Xoverman
I have an Opicalrendu Ver. 1.3 full version. I have the opportunity to get a used Opicalrendu Ver. 1.3 ROON only as a spear part. Can I use the ROON only Opicalrendu in case my full version brakes down and put the SD-Card of the full version Opticalrendu in the slot of the ROON only and have a full version again? Yes, but don't expect it to work the same. The full unit has a built in flow control feature needed for stable operation. The Lite unit does not have the built in flow control feature needed for stable operation and relies on your router or switch for this task. Are you talking about flow control of the network chip on the main PCB? Link to comment
