  1. I dont know. I'll try to look into it, but yes it may be partcular to this combination.
  2. Yes, but don't expect it to work the same. The full unit has a built in flow control feature needed for stable operation. The Lite unit does not have the built in flow control feature needed for stable operation and relies on your router or switch for this task.
  3. I have confirmed the issues here and I'll start to look into what needs to be fixed.
  4. When this happens try going to Settings on the Rendu and press Save in Squeezelite to see if this gets you past the hiccup.
  5. This is a firmware issue on the SOM. We should be able to reprogram it, but would need to come into the shop for service.
  6. This is more likely than not due to an incompatibility of the operating system with the SOM.
  7. @Jake Forsyth My VP and I have been long time fans of Ayre products. Before we started Sonore our local dealer in Deerfield Beach, FL carried your products. We have had many great listening sessions and conversations about your products over the years. Later in our journey, I reached out to Charlie for some guidance on an issue we had and he blessed me with a great quote that I'll share with you one day over a bear. Godspeed Charlie! Most recently, I worked with Ariel on some compatibility issues between our products and discussed working together in the future. We even had the pleasure is visiting the shop and met Ryan and others. Thanks for introducing yourself...its nice to meet you! Jesus R
  8. Adding to SuperDad's comments. Sonore purchased all the 7VDC inventory of the CIAudio power supplies when they closed shop. The ones we sell are all new and a very good option.
  9. He made some tests on the original design and the DX design. If there was an advantage on the original design that gap has been mostly shorten with the DX design. Also his clock is very carefully implemented with a super clean power supply and very short distances on the signal wire. Its a science project not a solution we are interested in it...IMO.
  10. I don't refer to it as V3 just the Deluxe edition. DAC cables work and 5VDC/2A should work.
  11. I didn’t keep the cable in my system long enough to listen to it. I was trying to see if a dirty power supply at the opticalModule would show up in the output of the Rendu when using the DAC network cable. In the configuration noted above the output didn’t appear to be adversely affected.
  12. I'm going to hold off on discussing the differences in more detail. I posted some limited information on the product home page. I will say that not all the magic is coming from just the network chipset redesign.
