vortecjr
We are trying something new with this application for subsequent updates. The "plan" is to link the app to the Audiovarna server so updates can be pulled from there server and can be added to sonicTransporter as soon as they are available. This is not a qaurenteed feature...just something we are trying. vortecjr
Update The Linux version of Audirvana has been officially released so the free trial is over. We are going to updating the beta version on sonicTransporter with SO 2.9 to the official release shortly. We are also going to release it on sonicTransporter with SO 2.8:) SONORE computer audio | opticalRendu | ultraRendu | microRendu | Signature Rendu SE | endPoint | opticalModule DX | Power Supplies | Link to comment
Guy M
I read this we that Qobuz (from a Qobuz person) is working with Marrantz and Denon in order to have ‘Qobuz connect’ implemented in their streamers. Can we expect the same from Sonore? Did you speak with Qobuz? Would be great to use it instead of MConnect. Link to comment

It is often rumored that the WiiM streamer people are either helping with development or will be one of the first to offer the app—due them possibly having sold hundreds of thousands of their low-cost boxes. But really, once a native Qobuz app (essentially the existing apps but with support for network-attached endpoints) eventually comes out, pretty much every streamer/endpoint manufacturer should easily be able to offer support of it. aainsanity
I wonder if Audirvana has been made available to SO 2.8 yet? Can't seem to find the option to install on my Sonic Transporter i7. Thanks. Link to comment

mark_z
Yea! Just got my sonictransport back after it's 2.9 "upgrade". Installed Audirvana app. No app seen in "Apps", nothing in "Settings". Remote control app installed on an iphone. No available computer shown.(see below) i have been running Audirvana on my Synology NAS and using the iphone remote app w/o any issue for a few weeks while the sonictransport was gone. I shut down the instance on the nas. Any ideas? Link to comment
mark_z
The instance running on the nas is on the same vlan - it is visible and connectable from my default vlan. The sonictransport is also on the same vlan. Audivarna instance is not visible on default vlan. Moved the sonictransport to the default vlan and am able to connect. Remote app on iPhone on default vlan. Since the nas instance is working as expected id guess it’s a configuration issue on the sonictransport? Audio vlan(Sonictransporter, Lumin U2(optical), NAS, Bluesound Node) is on the A side of an Etherregen switch with the B side connected to a 24 port switch > router > interwebs. This config was stable prior to the upgrade, I ran Roon as my primary audio source. All ports correctly tagged. Link to comment
