Can a single LPS supply both my DAC and Streamer?

Dvboy

Question

More specifically I currently have a Lumin U2 Mini with an Sbooster 12-13V LPS sending the signal to a Chord 2Qute DAC with its switched power supply.I was thinking a cheap upgrade would be to put a splitter in the Sbooster's cable and have it supply both the DAC and Streamer simultaneously as they are both 12V.Anything wrong with this concept before I give er a try?

Can a single LPS power both my DAC and Streamer?

Provided the currents of the U2 mini and the 2Qute don't exceed the Sbooster power supply current output, it is a simple exercise worth carrying out. I would supply each device separately with LPSU, join the 0V together and ground the 0V from each PSU.

I see that the U2 mini is powered from mains AC as standard, perhaps return the U2 mini to this config and supply the DAC from the Sbooster may be a better option.
